The California State MTNA Performance Competitions took place on November 14, 2004 at the Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles. There were a total of 60 entries in 11 separate competition categories, of which 3 had just one single entrant, respectively, and required no competition at the state level. The winners were designated California “State Representatives” to compete in their respective categories at the MTNA Southwest Division Competitions on Jan. 21-23, 2005 at California State University, Long Beach.
