CAPMT Endowment Fund

CAPMT works to promote the art of music to students, teachers, and the general public by increasing their awareness and understanding of the arts.

To further this purpose, CAPMT has established an Endowment Fund:

  • to promote musical and educational growth of the members.
  • to sustain the arts for future generations.
  • to contribute to the cultural environment of California.

Projects being considered and under development include:

  • pedagogy sessions.
  • continuing education grants for teachers.
  • conferences and seminars.

Anyone may contribute to the CAPMT Endowment Fund.  Teachers, students, parents and business or professionals have an opportunity to invest in the musical future of our society.  Your donation will assure greater musical understanding and excellence in the arts.

Your contribution of any amount will support the mission of the CAPMT Endowment fund and the musical education of our teachers and students. Contributions are deductible for federal income tax purposes to the extent allowed. Donations may be made in memory or honor of others.  Contact the Treasurer for more information.

Planned giving is an option for those who wish to make a deferred gift to the Endowment Fund.  The most common deferred gift is a bequest in a will, stipulating an amount or percentage of the estate to be contributed.  Such a bequest is not subject to federal estate taxes. Contact the President for more information.

MTNA Foundation

The MTNA Foundation Fund supports programs that nurture the creation, performance, study, and teaching of music.

Donations will directly assist in funding MTNA Foundation programs such as:

  • Teacher Enrichment Grants, providing assistance for music teachers wishing to continue their education
  • Local Association Grants, offering matching grants for community projects carried out by local music teacher associations
  • MTNA National Student Competition Awards, recognizing the hard work and abilities of talented music students across the nation.
