District or Chapter of the Year Award
CAPMT District or Chapter of the Year Award was established in 2012. An award of $500 is presented to the CAPMT District or Chapter that best fulfills the criteria listed below. A committee consisting of the President, President-Elect, and the VP Districts and Chapters evaluates and scores each chapter. The award is presented at the State Conference each Fall. |

Criteria for Consideration
- Chapter or District newsletters
- Website Social Media (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.). Must have a chapter website to be considered.
- Current size and recent growth in membership
- Quality and variety of local teacher programs and attendance at these events
- Local programs for students that are unique to your Chapter or District
- Completion of Chapter/District Reports
