Ensemble Festivals

Brief Overview

  • Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

  • Any combination of instruments and/or voice (including soloist + accompanist)

  • Repertoire does not need to be memorized

Ensemble Festivals provide an opportunity for students of all ages to perform ensemble music in a non-competitive and welcoming format. Ensemble Festivals are open to any combination of instrumental and vocal students. Vocal ensembles can consist of up to eight vocalists. Ensemble Festivals are designed to encourage and motivate students to explore the musical challenges inherent in the study and performance of ensemble music. Ensembles are given constructive comments, along with a rating from 1-5. Students receiving a ‘5’ are invited, but not required, to perform at the CAPMT Festival Celebrations.

Ensemble Festivals Guidelines (PDF)

Application Fees

$30 per individual participating student (NOT per ensemble)
