CAPMT 2022 Southern Festival (Piano Auditions) Application Form

In Piano and Vocal/Ensemble Auditions, students are rated 1–5 (5 being the best), with those receiving a 5 being invited (but not required) to perform at the CAPMT Northern Festival or CAPMT Southern Festival.

This is a friendly reminder that parents of students with the top score of 5 (5+, 5, or 5-) that qualify for the Southern Festival must register online by December 19, 2021!  Students will NOT be automatically registered for the Southern Festival. All registration is to be completed by the parent (not the teacher).

Applications will only be accepted ONLINE.

Online Application Deadline: December 19, 2021, 11:59 PM PST

A parent/legal guardian must register their child for the appropriate application:

• Southern Festival (Piano Auditions) Application

• Students MUST provide their own accompanist at the CAPMT Southern Festival.

• Festivals are in recital format:

• • SOUTH: January 8, 2022 (SAT) at Los Angeles Harbor College in Wilmington, CA

• Students must perform in the CAPMT Southern Festival in order to receive a festival medal.

Reminders:

*  A change of accompanist is acceptable for PIANO AUDITIONS students for the CAPMT Southern Festival.

• This Application Form is to be filled out by the:

    (if participating student is under age 18)

  • Student (if age 18 or older)

• Due to various waivers required, this application form is NOT to be filled out by the Teacher.
  
  
  IMPORTANT NOTE TO TEACHERS
  Teachers must submit the CAPMT Southern Festival 2020 Teacher Volunteer Availability Form to complete their students' application process. Teachers may submit the Volunteer Availability Form online. All teachers with students performing in the Southern Festival must fill out this form, but the form only needs to be filled once.
