CAPMT Concerto Competition for highly motivated students and highlights the concerto repertoire. It is open to piano, string, wind, brass, and voice students of any age up to and including students attending a four-year college. The Concerto Competition offers a unique opportunity to compete with ONE movement of concerto (with piano accompaniment). Preliminary Regional auditions are held in the North and South. Winners from each district will compete in the State Finals on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at San Jose State University School of Music .
