Rates are $100 for active CAPMT members (individual use), $150 for CAPMT Members in an organization (business use), and $250 for non-members. Submissions are limited to one page. Additional pages are subject to an extra fee.

Honors Competition is for highly motivated students and highlights the repertoire from Baroque, Classical, Romantic/Impressionistic and Contemporary periods. It is open to piano, string, wind, brass, and voice students from age 9 up to age 26. Winners from each district will compete in the State Finals on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at San Diego State University School of Music and Dance.

Note: District 1 Honors Competition will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10 AM - 3PM (Categories A, B, C) and also on Saturday, February 14, 2026, 10 AM-2 PM (Categories D, E) concurrently with the Contemporary Competition. Contact the District Chair, James Gary, for more information.
